About The Technology

The UV-C disinfection technology uses ultraviolet light in the germicidal range (200-280nm) to inactivate different pathogens and reduce the risk of their transmission. This range of the UV spectrum causes damage to the DNA and RNA of different microorganisms destroying their ability to reproduce. It has been proven to be an effective method for reduction of various mold, parasite, bacteria and viruses as well as multidrug resistant (MDR) pathogens often found in healthcare settings.

Both WHO and the International Ultraviolet Association (IUVA) agrees that the technology should supplements manual cleaning to ensure maximum results. Therefore, UV-C should be used in addition to normal cleaning and disinfection methods to disinfect any residual contamination caused by these techniques.

Benefits of UV Disinfection

Unlike other touchless disinfection technologies such as fumigation, the UVC technology:

Doesn’t require the use of chemicals or special sealing of the room’s ventilation ducts, plumbing fixtures, or any other openings.

Doesn’t disrupt the air balance of the ventilation system in other rooms.

Requires very little maintenance and no post disinfection cleaning.

Doesn’t produce any toxic or carcinogenic by-products, debris or residues.

No waiting time for entering the area after disinfection.

Can be used to disinfect water, eatables and personal articles.
